PURPOSE:
To encourage communications between amateur radio operators outside of Rhode
Island and amateurs in all counties of Rhode Island. To encourage a high level
of technical and operating skills by working amateurs in all Rhode Island
counties.
RULES:
Work all five (5) Rhode Island counties (Bristol, Kent, Newport, Providence,
Washington). Any bands, modes, or combination thereof, except for use of repeaters,
are allowed. No other restrictions or time limits. Rhode Island amateurs may
qualify if they remain in one county.
VERIFICATION:
Send a list of calls, dates, and counties worked, verified by two other licensed
amateurs, that they have seen the QSL cards for the counties worked. Or include
photocopies of the front and back of the QSL cards to the address below along
with your list. Do not send your QSL cards to WA1RR. They will not be returned
to you.
AWARD:
A sequentially numbered certificate signed by the CTRI Contest Group Awards
Manager.
COST:
$7.00 to cover cost of certificate, processing and postage. Please make checks
